First of all, there was a last-minute switch with the nominations’ announcers. House Of Cards’ Kate Mara had a travel-related hiccup, prompting the ceremony’s host Neil Patrick Harris to step in alongside Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul.

So, which series are going head-to-head for the best drama? The competition is tight as Game Of Thrones, Mad Men, Breaking Bad and others got picked.

The best comedies included 30 Rock, Girls, Louie, and Modern Family.

We were happy to hear that Aaron Paul snagged a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama, especially as Breaking Bad enters its final episodes. The show’s lead actor, Bryan Cranston, also got tapped in his category, with other nominees for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama including Jon Hamm, Jeff Daniels, and Kevin Spacey.

Now let’s move on to the women. The nominees for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama included Claire Daines, Kerry Washington, Elisabeth Moss, and Robin Wright.

And who’s been singled out for their hilarious comedic performances? For the leading men, Jason Bateman, Alec Baldwin, and Jim Parsons are among the nominees. And as for the leading ladies, we’ve got Lena Dunham, Tina Fey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and more vying for the win.
